Privacy policy
Tape & Chalk: Body Measurement ("the app") is published by WaveSparkArt LLC. You can reach us at locdodinh.gg@icloud.com.
Where your data lives
Your measurements, goals and settings are stored only on your iPhone. There is no server, no account and no sign-in. The app makes no network requests of its own, so we never receive your data and cannot see it.
No analytics, advertising or tracking
The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software. We do not sell or share your data.
Apple Health
Apple Health is off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, the app asks for permission and then writes your weight, body fat and waist measurements to Apple Health. The app never reads data from Apple Health. Health data is never used for advertising. You can turn this off in the app's Settings, or revoke access in the iOS Settings app under Health › Data Access & Devices.
Purchases
The yearly subscription and the lifetime unlock are processed by Apple. We receive no payment details. Restoring purchases and managing or cancelling a subscription also happen through Apple.
Notifications
The app can send one optional weekly check-in reminder. It is scheduled on your device and works without any server.
Exporting your data
The CSV export is created on your iPhone. It goes only where you choose to send it through the iOS share sheet.
Deleting your data
You can delete entries inside the app. Deleting the app deletes all of its data from your iPhone. Readings already saved to Apple Health stay there until you remove them in the Health app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
No medical advice
Tape & Chalk is a tracking tool. It does not give medical advice and does not judge any measurement as healthy or unhealthy.
